I am just back from 12 days vacation in the UK. Most of my time was spent in Edinburgh (where I am from) but I did squeeze in a quick trip-ette to Glasgow and London.
Edinburgh – if you have never been before – is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The architecture is jaw-droppingly stunning and I love nothing better than soaking up all the period features whilst wandering down narrow cobbled streets. April is the perfect month to go to Edinburgh. Every grassy verge is filled to the brim with daffodils and the trees are budding and the grass is green. Here are a few pictures of Princes Street Gardens and Edinburgh Castle.
Cramond is a little sea-side village a 15 minute drive from the city centre and a mere walk from my Dad’s house, it is the perfect place for a putter on a sunny Sunday morning. At low tide you can walk along the Cramond Causeway out to Cramond Island. This is just what we did.
