……..are featuring talks and readings under the banner Innovators + Ideas (I2). Today there was a talk called “20 Years of Beastiality” from Alistair McAuley from the Timorous Beasties www.timorousbeasties.com.  TB (as I’ll refer to it, although it’s shortened name is the name of a disease hence the company logo that depicts a T on top of the outline of a bumble bee (B) instead of saying TB……….I digress.  Anyhow – the talk was great and it was very inspirational. These guys do what they love, using local trades people and fabric mills based in the UK. There products can be purchased in Canada through The Ministry of The Interior.

TB produce wonderful large scale, often hand printed wallpaper and fabrics. Most have a slightly dark and twisty nature – there are lots of creepy crawlies and their toiles are thought provoking to say the least.
