Although we’ve called this project Kitchen Bliss it’s a little bit of a misleading description as it encompasses the entire main floor of my client’s gorgeous home.
The kitchen however was the starting point of this Riverdale, Toronto renovation. We began by producing concept drawings, room layouts and extensive millwork elevations for the custom kitchen and dining room. We sourced and designed furniture, casegoods, lighting and custom window treatments.
By removing a wall that separated the original kitchen from the family room at the rear we were able to generously increase the size of this kitchen and provide my clients with a family friendly corner banquette and living edge pedestal table. The space that had once been dark is now bright, welcoming and above all functional.
The living and dining rooms were updated and the addition of new oak trim, crown mouldings and custom millwork all elevate the feel and finish in these spaces as do the gorgeous toss pillows and ottomans!
In the main floor powder room, we created a statement with black beadboard, beautiful wallpaper and a stunning marble lattice floor.
You can view the basement of this home in the portfolio named – Basement Bliss.
